Prof. Dr. K. A. Hakim, former Professor and HOD, Calicut Medical College and former Senior Consultant Neurologist and unit chief, Al Mafraq Hospital and MOH UAE has over 40 years of working experience in Neurology and internal medicine. He had his doctorate DM Neurology training in the Neurosciences division of the prime institute of international reputation, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi – India in 1981 and post doctoral fellowship FAMS from Klinik Allgemeines Krankenhaus, in Austria, Europe, after his graduation (MBBS) and post graduation (MD in internal medicine) from Trivandrum Medical College way back in 1978. He has several publications to his credit in addition to his wide teaching experience spanning over a period of 30 years in various medical colleges in India and government hospitals in the UAE. In 2017 he launched Asala Medical Center in Sharjah.
