The incident was reported on the first day of Eid Al Fitr.
A man whose car fell into a 15-metre pit in Al Khawaneej area was rescued by the Dubai Police in coordination with the Dubai Civil Defence.
A specialized squad of civil defence personnel rushed to the scene and rescued the man who was trapped in the pit. He sustained moderate injuries and was airlifted to receive medical attention.
