
As a result of the Al Ain Traffic Misdemeanour Court's judgment, three people have been found guilty of reckless driving. They have been fined Dh50,000 each, with their driving licences suspended for three months and their vehicles confiscated.
Additionally, the convicts were required to perform community service. A photo shared by the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department shows the convicts cleaning what look like skid marks on the road.
By driving loudly and without number plates, the defendants compromised the lives of other road users, showedboated on a public road in a dangerous manner, and caused damage to public property.
As a result of viral videos of their reckless driving, these details came to light, according to the authority.
Authorities took matters into their hands after viewing the video and referred the defendants to Public Prosecution. As a result of their trial, evidence was established and charges were filed against the three perpetrators.
