The National Centre of Meteorology has issued a weather forecast predicting that the country will experience rain from Saturday to Wednesday this week.

According to the NCM's statement, the Eastern and Northern regions of the country will witness light to moderate rainfall, with localized heavy rain in some areas. The weather is expected to be occasionally partly cloudy, with a possibility of rain today.

Due to the rain, temperatures are expected to decrease in coastal and inland areas today and for the rest of the week. Residents can enjoy their weekend outdoors as light to moderate winds are anticipated throughout the day, occasionally becoming stronger, with a chance of blowing sand.

The temperature is expected to drop to 16ºC today, while the maximum temperature will reach 36ºC
