An update to the digital portal has been launched by the Ajman Public Transport Authority APTA as part of its plans for digital transformation. This will ensure that the customer's journey is facilitated with distinguished government service standards.

Users can manage their companies connected to the portal, apply for permits, and register their vehicles on the digital portal. In addition to notifications, the portal has services for renewing transportation permits and managing permits, drivers, vehicles, and drivers.

Ajman Transport Authority Director General Rasha Khalaf Al Shamsi said the company is keen to make services readily available and to reduce the time that it takes to provide them.

The system, she explained, will contribute to reducing procedures and time to complete services, reduce human error, and provide real-time information that will assist in decision making.

Furthermore, she stated that the authority also wishes to obtain feedback on a regular basis from customers and employees, to enhance the services provided via periodic questionnaires, brainstorming sessions, and training programs for employees in order to develop their skills to deliver digital services.

The system was created internally by the Digital Transformation Department, said Abdul Rahman Saif Al Nuaimi, Director of the Institutional Support Department. Additionally, he added that the authority is dedicated to developing continuously and permanently in alignment with the standards of digital transformation, information security, and distinguished government service.
