
Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority has announced revised public transport times, which will apply from May 27.
The changed timings are in line with the easing of movement restrictions in the emirate.
The RTA confirmed that routes would be operational from 7am until midnight from Saturday to Thursday and from 10am until midnight on Fridays until further notice.Metro services have been limited as part of safety measures to stem the spread of Covid-19.
Metros are currently running on the red and green lines from 7am until 9pm.
Starting on Wednesday, the last journey on the red line from Rashidiya Station to UAE Exchange Station will leave at 10.54pm.
The last train on the same route in the opposite direction will start at 10.53pm.
On the green line, the last train will start from the Creek Station to Etisalat Station at 11.21pm.
The RTA will run 54 trains on the red line and 17 trains on the green line during peak hours, serving 46 stations.
Dubai Tram will be in service from Saturday to Thursday from 7am until midnight. The service will start at 10am on Friday.City buses will run from 6am to 11pm, but the intercity bus service will remain suspended until further notice.
Marine transport will operate from 7am to 10pm. Tourist lines, Dubai Water Canal lines as well as Al Ghubaiba-Sharjah Aquarium Stations line will remain closed.
Taxis will be in service from 6am until midnight. On-demand taxi service will also be available during the national disinfection hours.
