The NCM has issued orange and yellow alerts in certain regions of the country, cautioning residents about adverse weather conditions for outdoor activities.
Rains are anticipated until 5 pm today, according to the NCM forecast.
As night falls, the weather will become humid, with a likelihood of mist forming over some western areas.
The upcoming weekend will be breezy, with light to moderate winds expected, occasionally picking up with clouds, leading to the potential for blowing dust and sand.
Temperatures are set to drop to a chilly 13ºC in mountainous areas of the country, while the maximum temperature will reach 32ºC in internal regions.
