Diving Instructor Was Fined Dh20,000 In UAE

A diving instructor in Khor Fakkan was fined Dh20,000 and was ordered to pay Dh200,000 in blood money to the family of his employee.
According to details heard by the criminal court, the man had drowned at sea during a training session.
The duo had gone sailing together, but farther out to sea than what their diving permit allowed.
The instructor returned without his employee and police filed a missing persons report.
Rescue teams were unable to retrieve the body.
