Fog and mist covered some parts of the country in the early hours of Thursday, causing low visibility on the roads.
According to the National Centre of Meteorology, the weather forecast for today is fair to partly cloudy over some eastern areas with light to moderate winds in general.

Winds will be southeasterly to northwesterly, light to moderate, with speeds of 15-264km/hr, reaching 35km/hr in the coastal areas. The sea will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea, NCM added.

The NCM has also issued a five-day weather forecast from Thursday until Monday.
