Every year, a new list of all the world's passports is published, based on the number of visa-free places to which their holders have access. This year Japan and Singapore top the list for being the most powerful passport in the world, providing access to 192 destinations. The United Arab Emirates comes 15th in this list of the global ranking. UAE passport provides you the access to visit 175 destinations.
There is an Index that estimates cross-border admittance and allocates a "visa-free score" based on the number of countries a passport bearer can travel without a visa or with a visa obtained on arrival known as the Global Passport Index.
All you need to know about The Henley Passport Index
The Henley Passport Index is the primary and most authentic evaluation of all passports in the world, based on the number of countries to which their receptacles can travel without bothering for a pass/visa. The index is constructed on data from the International Air Transport Association (IATA), which is the world's largest and most accurate travel database.
The Henley Passport Index is the only one of its type, with data spanning 17 years and based on exclusive data from the International Air Transport Authority (IATA). There are 199 different passports in the index, as well as 227 different vacation destinations. The Henley Passport Index is a standard reference tool for global citizens and sovereign governments when determining where a passport stands on the global mobility spectrum. It is updated in every three months.
