The Golden visa enables foreigners to reside, work, or study in the UAE, granting long-term residents unique benefits. Eligible individuals for this visa category comprise entrepreneurs, investors, scientists, exceptional students, recent graduates, frontline heroes, and humanitarian pioneers.

The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Ports Security (ICP) in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has raised the fee for a six-month entry permit, which is a prerequisite for applying for a 10-year golden visa.

Cost of UAE Golden Visa:  The revised fee for obtaining a six-month entry permit, necessary for applying for a 10-year golden visa, now amounts to AED 1,250. This figure includes various ancillary expenses, such as AED 1,000 for issuance, AED 22 for ICP fees, AED 28 for e-services, AED 100 for the application itself, and AED 100 for smart services.

Eligibility for UAE Golden Visa Entry Permit:

For International Investors: 

1. To be eligible for the 10-year golden visa, individuals are required to have public investments valued at a minimum of AED 10 million in the form of a corporation or investment fund.

2. Business partners who each donate AED 10 million will be granted a 10-year visa by the government.

3. Conversely, individuals who apply for a 5-year visa must possess at least AED 5 million.

4. The invested funds must be retained by the individual for three years and cannot be loaned.

5. The assets must be solely owned by the individual, and only up to 60% of the fund can be used for real estate purposes.

6. The holder's spouse, children, one chief executive director, and an advisor are all entitled to receive a long-term UAE golden visa.

For Individuals With Unique Skills or Talents:

1. Individuals possessing specialized skills or expertise may be eligible to apply for a 10-year UAE golden visa, subject to accreditation from their respective departments or fields.

2. Accreditation from the Emirates Scientists Council or the receipt of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Medal for Scientific Excellence is mandatory for scientists, while creative individuals in the field of culture and art require accreditation from the Ministry of Culture and Knowledge Development.

3. Applicants must have a teaching position at one of the 500 international universities recognized by the Ministry of Education.

4. Clinical specialists must have at least 20 years of experience in their field to be considered for the golden visa.

5. The golden visa extends to the partners and children of eligible individuals.

For Individuals Investing in the Real Estate Sector: 

For individuals investing in the real estate sector, the eligibility criteria are comparable to those of other investor types. Nevertheless, they can apply for a 5-year visa and must invest a minimum of AED 5 million.

For Student and Specialist

1. Exceptional students in public and private secondary schools must attain a minimum average of 95% to meet the eligibility requirements.

2. To be recognized as distinguished, graduates from domestic and international universities must achieve a grade point average(GPA) of at least 3.75.

For Entrepreneur

Individuals who meet the minimum criteria of possessing a current project with a capital investment of at least AED 500,000 (US$1,02,09,463), or those who have received approval from an authorized business incubator within the country, are eligible to apply for a UAE golden visa.

For Chief Executive Officer

1. Applicants are required to possess a bachelor's degree and a minimum of five years of work experience.

2. To be eligible, individuals must have legal employment status in the UAE and earn a salary of at least 30,000 AED. 

Family

In addition to the applicants mentioned above, the UAE Golden Visa also includes coverage for their families.

Step 2. Choose "Golden Visa" from the "Public Services" list and click "Visa to Complete the Golden Residency Procedures."
Step 3. Submit documents and the necessary information.
Step 4. Pay the service fee. People must wait for permission before they can successfully finish the application process.

- In the event that applicants are arriving from outside the UAE, the ICA will have entry permission (with a validity of 6 months) and be able to extend it for an additional 6 months in order to complete the process of obtaining golden residency in the nation.
