In order to reside in the UAE, you must first obtain a residency visa. Also, you should keep checking if it has expired; if it has expired, you need to renew it. There are cases where UAE residency expires in a month and the passport expires within six months. People are left wondering if they need to first renew their passports before applying for UAE residency. What is the passport validity requirement for renewing residency?
We are here to answer your questions. And the answer is:
It is not allowed to renew a resident's visa in the UAE unless his or her passport remains valid for a minimum of six months. In this case, since your passport has less than six months of validity and your UAE residency visa expires within a month, you should renew your passport as soon as possible. You can then renew your UAE residence visa.
