
Kuwait confirms 109 new COVID-19 cases; tally hits 665 and now with detailsCairo: Kuwait reported Monday 109 new cases of the novel coronavirus, bringing the total infections in the country to 665, including one fatality, according to a health official.
The latest cases include eight linked to travel to the UK, Spain and the US.
The 101 others were in contact with previously infected people, spokesman for the Health Ministry Dr Abdullah Al Sanad said in a media briefing.
They include 79 Indians, six Egyptians, six Bangladeshis, six Iranians, three Pakistanis and a Filipino, according to a breakdown provided by the official.
The tally includes 20 patients staying in intensive care units.
Kuwaiti Health Minister Sheikh Basil Al Sabah earlier Monday reported that four more virus patients have recovered, raising to 103 the total recoveries in the country.
