The fee for applying for the country's 10-year Golden Visa has been updated by the UAE authorities.
A report published in the Arabic daily Al Khaleej reports that the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP) has revised the cost of the six-month entry permit to Dh1,250.
According to the authority, the Dh1,250 charge includes a Dh1,000 issuance fee, a Dh100 application fee, a Dh100 for smart services, a Dh28 for electronic services, and a Dh22 for ICP.
Golden Visa applicants must submit several documents when applying for an entry permit, including a passport and a coloured personal photo.
Investors, entrepreneurs, top talent, scholars, specialists, outstanding high school graduates, graduates of accredited universities, and frontline heroes are among those eligible for long-term residency in the UAE.
It was confirmed earlier this year by Khaleej Times that Emirates ID and visa fees have gone up. The price of all ICP services has increased by Dh100.
