Emphasizing the mantra of ‘Patient First,’ Dubai Academic Health Corporation will operate under the rebranded name 'Dubai Health', announced by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, on Saturday.
The updated brand identity "embodies fundamental principles that emphasize collaborative teamwork, aiming to reinforce Dubai's position as a pioneer in advancing healthcare excellence across health, education, and research domains."
In a post on the microblogging platform X, Sheikh Hamdan highlighted the launch of Dubai Health's new corporate identity, the emirate's inaugural integrated academic health system striving to elevate patient care quality.
The new branding is built upon the values of care, learning, and discovery. Depicted through three arches supported by a foundation, the logo's central arch signifies care, manifested through compassionate guardianship and the nurturing of boundless potential. The secondary arches represent learning and discovery, while the sturdy base symbolizes giving.
By amalgamating these four core missions, Dubai aligns itself with prominent academic health systems globally, enhancing patient outcomes and promoting accessibility and sustainability in its healthcare sector.
Dubai Health now encompasses an extensive network comprising six hospitals, 26 outpatient medical service centers, and 20 medical fitness centers. Beyond physical health facilities, it incorporates institutions like Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences and Al Jalila Foundation.
To enhance accessibility and facilitate public communication, the initiative will introduce a user-friendly app and a toll-free 24/7 call center.
With a workforce of over 11,000 professionals collaborating across multidisciplinary teams, 'Dubai Health' has achieved numerous milestones. In 2022, its hospitals documented over 4.7 million outpatient visits, nearly 350,000 emergency department visits, and over 60,000 patient admissions. The institution attracted over 1,000 learners from various disciplines globally, offered 60 scholarships and 100 research grants, and extended medical support to a total of 8,686 patients in need.
Dr Amer Ahmad Sharif, president of MBRU, stated, "Dubai Health will serve as the primary healthcare service provider in the city, delivering care, education, research, and philanthropy. This move encourages collaboration with the private sector, integrating healthcare facilities, academic institutions, and professionals.
