
Riyadh Air, Saudi Arabia’s upcoming airline set to launch in mid-2025, plans to conduct recruitment drives in Dubai, aiming to employ hundreds across various roles, as shared by a senior official.
Peter Bellew, the airline's Chief Operating Officer, mentioned, "We're recruiting for cabin crew, pilots, engineers, maintenance, and various corporate positions. Recruitment days are planned in Dubai, Paris, and Saudi Arabia in the final quarter of this year. We aim to bring in 300 cabin crew by the end of 2024, with the first hires expected in the first quarter of 2024."
The airline, backed by Saudi's sovereign wealth fund, anticipates creating around 200,000 jobs by 2030, both directly and indirectly. Bellew highlighted the overwhelming response received, with over 900,000 applications, of which 52% are from women and span over 200 nationalities since their announcement in March 2023.
Scheduled to launch in mid-2025 with regional and international routes, Riyadh Air aims to reach over 100 destinations by 2030, significantly contributing to Saudi Arabia’s economic diversification and job creation in alignment with Vision 2030 goals.

Bellew hinted at exciting developments during the airshow, including revealing the airline’s highly anticipated second livery, and a partnership with luxury electric vehicle manufacturer Lucid Group for sustainable transportation initiatives.
