
Dubai Public Prosecution said on Wednesday that a 17-year-old has been placed under judicial probation after he stole a delivery bike and set it on fire.
At the Juvenile Court of the emirate, the teenager and another have been charged with theft and arson. The duo allegedly stole the bike parked at a restaurant, then drove off.
Upon getting off the motorbike in another area, the accused "pulled out the bike's petrol tube" and set it on fire, according to the Dubai Public Prosecution, adding that the juvenile was placed on judicial probation. Misdemeanour courts were referred to the other person involved.
