The maximum temperatures will surge to 49°C inland, with lows of 23°C expected in the mountains.
It will be a generally 'hot and hazy day' in the UAE, with temperature expected to hit a scorching 48°C, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) said.

The forecast says some clouds will appear over some eastern areas may become convective at times by afternoon. Light to moderate winds in general may cause blowing dust over some exposed areas.
The maximum temperatures will surge to 49°C inland, with lows of 23°C expected in the mountains. The relative humidity levels could be as high as 90 per cent. It will increase during night and early morning times over some eastern western areas.

Winds will veer southeasterly to northeasterly, 16 - 26,kph, reaching 36kph at times in the internal areas during day time.

The highest temperature recorded over the country on Tuesday was 47.3 °C in Madinat Zayed at 4:15pm, while the lowest temperature recorded today morning was 26.3 °C in Ras Ghanadah at 5:15 am.
Sea will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and moderate in Oman sea.

On Tuesday evening, moderate to light rainfall was reported in Al Ain, the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) said.
