Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf won 115 out of the 270 seats on which the elections were held on July 25.
The United Arab Emirates has welcomed the success of Pakistan's general elections which witnessed a large voter turnout.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation expressed hope for further cooperation between the UAE and Pakistan in line with the close friendship ties and robust historical relations binding the two friendly countries.

"The UAE wishes the new Pakistani government success and looks forward to developing bilateral relations across all domains," added the statement.
