On Sunday, the police announced new special discount packages available to Ras Al Khaimah drivers with traffic ends of two years or more.

Brig-Gen Ahmed Al-Sam Al-Naqbi, Director of the Ras Al Khaimah Police Traffic and Patrols Department, encourages drivers with such violations to apply for discounts at the Traffic and Licensing Services Centre.

It will follow certain regulations set by the police to implement this new initiative.

The Ras Al Khaimah Police Commander-in-Chief, Maj-Gen Ali Abdullah bin Alwan Al Nuaimi, said this project contributes to residents' happiness, safety, and quality of life.

A number of initiatives have been launched to raise the level of traffic safety and enhance road users' awareness of rules and regulations," he said.
