Winter is just around the corner, so UAE travellers can soon explore the beautiful landscape of Musandam and swim in its blue waters.

It will be possible to take buses from Musandam to Ras Al Khaimah starting on October 6, 2023.

Taking to X, Ras Al Khaimah Transport Authority (RAKTA) announced the launch of the first international public bus connecting Ras Al Khaimah to Musandam.

From the main bus station in Ras Al Khaimah to the Wilayat of Khasab, the authority will operate a bus route.

There will be two journeys scheduled on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays at 8am and 6pm, with a total travel time of approximately three hours.

There is a Dh50 cost for the one-way trip, which can be booked through RAKTA's official website, the RAKBUS application, on the bus, and at the bus station.

On August 30, 2023, RAKTA and the Municipality of Musandam signed an agreement for this service.
