At Gitex Global 2022, the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs-Dubai (GDRFA) announced a new app called GDRFA DXB, which is now available on iOS. In the near future, Google phone users will also be able to download the app.
The new app features a new design and more services for applicants. The new app has three major updates, which we have discussed below:
1. How to register with the app
Download the app and Log in with your UAE Pass account or create an account with GDRFA.
In order to create an account with GDRFA, you will need to provide your personal information like your full name, date of birth, gender, and contact details. You will also be asked to provide your Emirates ID number.
2. Details about your residency can be found here
The app will automatically sync your residence visa information once you are logged in.
A personalized dashboard is also available that shows the user's [residency] status, visa file number, and Unified ID number. In the dashboard, the user will also be able to see detailed information about his or her dependents. Applicants can check their residency visa expiration date in the app's dashboard in order to plan their visa renewal.
This app notifies the user when their visa is about to expire and allows them to renew it through the app. As you use the app, you'll see tailored services based on your residency status at the top. The services related to sponsoring dependents will be included in the package of services available to you if you sponsor your spouse and children in Dubai.
3. This app can help you with 5 visa services
With the launch of a new app, you can now apply for a Dubai entry permit or renew your visa via the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs-Dubai (GDRFA).
Residents of UAE can now use the newly launched app for visa services, including:
-Residents can apply for a new residency permit.
-Renewal of residency permit
-Issuing a new entry permit
-Issue residency permit for newborn
-You can pay fines for violations.
