Salam Air's newest service is set to be a welcome relief for Indian expatriates traveling to Kerala and its neighboring states, given the current high airfare rates. Commencing from October 2, flights will operate on Mondays and Wednesdays with a layover in Muscat for passengers traveling to and from Fujairah.
For the flight departing from Fujairah at 7.50 pm and arriving in Kozhikode at 3.20 am, the entire journey, including the layover, spans six hours.
Another flight departing from Fujairah at 10.20 am offers passengers an opportunity to explore Muscat with an 11-hour and 10-minute layover. The total duration of this journey clocks in at 15 hours and 30 minutes. Travelers on this flight can apply for an e-visa online and spend a day in Muscat if desired.
From Kozhikode, the flight takes off at 4.20 am and lands in Fujairah at 9.50 am, making for a 7-hour journey with a 2-hour and 45-minute transit in Muscat. This particular ticket is priced at Dh554.
The second flight departing from Kozhikode at 4.20 am and arriving in Fujairah at 7.20 pm boasts a total flying time of 16 hours and 30 minutes, with a layover of 12 hours and 15 minutes in Muscat.
As part of its expansion efforts, Salam Air initiated four weekly flights from Fujairah to various cities, including Trivandrum, Riyadh, Bangkok, Phuket, Kuala Lumpur, Colombo, Jaipur, Karachi, Salalah, Lucknow, and Sialkot in July.
