A woman in Sharjah was accused of insulting her ex-husband on WhatsApp on Thursday.

The Arab woman had sent her former husband a message telling him that he was "a bad father".

She claimed that he doesn't ask after their daughter nor give her the proper attention or financial support since he married his new wife.

He testified in court that his ex-wife would not stop harassing him as he had divorced her and married another woman. He claimed she would message him constantly, using their daughter as an excuse to pester him. 

Her last message which said, "you are a bad father", upset him so much he decided to file a case against her.

The court asked if he was willing to reconcile with her, but he refused. The next hearing will be held on October 11 to hear the woman's testimony.
