Jais Sledder, the longest toboggan ride in the region, has opened now..!!!
At the top of the UAE's tallest mountain, RAK Leisure and Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce and Industry have unveiled the region's longest toboggan ride, Jais Sledder.
With the launch of Jais Sledder at Jais Adventure Park, thrill-seekers and families will have an exciting new attraction to enjoy.
With a low-slung track, the Jais Sledder can reach speeds up to 40kmph as you descend the Hajar Mountains, swerving through landscapes with amazing views.
As you sit closer to the ground, the speed seems ten-fold greater. The fully controllable ride takes around eight minutes to travel 1,885 metres of twisting hairpin turns and undulating whirls.
Sleds can comfortably seat two people, one in front and one behind. This allows you to share the adventure with a friend or family member, or you can enjoy the experience alone. You can purchase tickets for a single ride or multiple rides from the ticket office at the base of the ride or at the Jais Adventure Centre.
The mountains of Jais are home to a variety of attractions, including the world's longest zipline, the Jais Sky Tour, and the Bear Grylls Explorers Camp.
In addition to its newly expanded terrace and Sky Lounge, also known as 1484 by Puro, this restaurant serves a comprehensive menu that will keep you fueled all day.
The Jais Sledder is built to meet the highest safety and technical standards and to adhere to the ISO 19202 standard. It is also built to adhere to the latest design technologies suitable for planning tracks, designing and calculating, manufacturing, building, and testing requirements for summer sledding activities.
