Additionally, December 1, Friday, has been designated as a 'remote working day' for employees in ministries and federal entities, except for those whose roles necessitate physical presence in the office. The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (Mohre) had previously announced December 2 and 3 as paid public holidays for private sector workers.

As the specified dates fall over the regular Saturday-Sunday weekend, the holiday arrangement will not result in an extended break.
