In Dubai, the Department of Economy and Tourism pays special attention to attracting Kuwaiti and Gulf tourists, according to Ahmed Al-Marri, Director of International Operations for the Middle East and Gulf Cooperation Council Region.

The daily reported Al-Marri's observation, made on the sidelines of a visit to Dubai as a member of a media delegation from the Gulf countries, that Kuwaiti tourism is on the rise in Dubai. More than 259 thousand Kuwaiti tourists visited Dubai in 2022, according to the latest statistics released by the Department of Economy and Tourism in Dubai.

Further, he said, "We work permanently with Jazeera Airways and Kuwait Airways to develop tourism in Dubai, and this cooperation turns into integrated partnerships with Kuwait."

Kuwait enjoys a privileged location within the Gulf States region, according to him, and it is one of Dubai's leading tourism markets. According to him, Dubai's tourism industry is constantly evolving, as new and advanced hotels offer Kuwaiti and Gulf travelers special facilities throughout the year.
