Drivers are advised to take alternative routes wherever possible.
Heavy traffic and accidents caused delays to commuters in UAE on Sunday morning.

In capital, the Abu Dhabi Department of Municipal Affairs and Transport took to Twitter to report an accident Al Khaleej Al Arabi Street before  Mussafah bridge inbound. The incident caused heavy delays and snarls.

In Dubai, heavy congestion was reported across Dubai on E44 Al Awir road from Al Warqa to Ras Al Khor, Al Khail Road and Shaikh Zayed Road near Dubai Investment Park.

There is also heavy traffic on the roads headed from Al Nahda and heading into Dubai. Tailbacks were reported with heavy congestion on Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road from the National Paints roundabout in Sharjah to Dubai.
