Motorists faced significant delays reported in parts of Dubai and Abu Dhabi during the rush hour commute on Sunday morning.

According to Google Maps data, an accident was reported on D61 Hessa Street near Motor City  towards Sheikh Zayed Road, causing congestion and tailback

Motorists travelling on E66 Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road near Dubai Design District area were caught in long queues.

Slow moving traffic was reported on Sheikh Zayed Road near Dubai Investments Park towards Abu Dhabi.

Moderate traffic was also reported in Al Bharsha, while elsewhere there were delays in Al Warqa and Al Awir.

In the capital, slow moving traffic was reported on E20 Abu Dhabi-Al Sweihan Road near Khalifa City.

Meanwhile in Sharjah, roads headed from Al Nahda and Al Wahda streets towards Dubai witnessed heavy traffic. Tailbacks were also reported on Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road from Sharjah Industrial Area towards Dubai.?
