Three routes clogged by slow moving traffic.
Dubai-Sharjah roads experienced traffic congestion on Thursday morning as well as the work week comes to an end - with huge tailbacks on three routes in particular.
Slow moving traffic resulted in traffic jams on Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road, route D62 and the popular E11 route.
Motorists are cautioned to take alternate routes where possible and follow traffic rules.
