A multi-vehicle accident was reported on the Al Ittihad Road after  Dubai Police Headquarters  tunnel towards Al Garhoud on Tuesday morning, Dubai Police tweeted. 

The mishap lead to the congestion on E11 Shaikh Zayed Road towards Dubai. They advised motorists to take caution and take alternative routes.Slow moving traffic was reported today morning on Al Warqa and Al Awir roads towards Abu Dhabi, according to Google Maps data.

In Sharjah, motorists traveling on Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road from the National Paints roundabout to Mirdif City Centre towards Dubai were caught in long queues. Congestion was also reported in on Dubai Airport Road, Al Wahda street, Mirdif and Al Nahda towards Dubai.
