New Dubai Employment Law For DIFC Issued

In his capacity as Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, enacted Law No. 2 of 2019 on Wednesday.
The newly-enacted Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) Employment Law compliments the DIFC’s commitment to international best practice.
“The DIFC Employment Law enhancements are integral to creating an attractive environment for the almost 24,000-strong workforce based in the DIFC to thrive, while protecting and balancing the interests of both employers and employees.”
