Dubai: The Roads and Transport Authority’s (RTA) Dubai Taxi Corporation has given a van to Hatta Hospital to transfer kidney patients in need of dialysis to Dubai.
The initiative was rolled out in collaboration with Al Futtaim Automotive and Gargash Enterprise to implement Dubai Government’s directives to support the comprehensive development of Hatta area.

It also comes as part of the Year of Zayed and Year of Giving initiatives which fall under the ‘RTA Foundation’ project, the RTA said.
At a function held at the RTA’s headquarter, the van was handed over to Dubai Health Authority.
RTA’s social responsibility focuses on achieving the community happiness at various levels and identifying the needs of Dubai residents, a spokesperson of RTA said. The Year of Zayed and Hatta Development Plan are part of RTA’s agenda, and the initiatives of the Dubai Government are a goal that all entities seek to realise in a perfect style.
The RTA Foundation project focuses on delivering services that add to the comfort and happiness of people of the area.
