His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, has issued a decision to establish an Emiratization department at the government level.

The new department will be responsible for hiring of Emiratis in the private sector.

As for salaries, the private sector companies will be depositing the salaries with the government, and the government will then disburse the salaries to the Emiratis, ensuring that the salaries match those of their counterparts in theSharjah will also ensure that Emiratis are paid the proper amount by their employers. The government will also assist companies to ensure equal pay for Emiratis in both public and private sectors.
