An accident involving a bus and a tanker resulted in a traffic congestion in Dubai's Business Bay district on Monday morning, Khaleej Times has learned.

"Traffic congestion due to a severe accident on Business Bay Crossing towards Al Rebat Road, please be extra cautious and take alternative ways," Dubai Police wrote on Twitter.According to an eyewitness, the accident involved an empty school bus and a tanker.

"The Business Bay Crossing road towards Sharjah is completely blocked by police. There are ambulances on-site as well. The school bus looks like it collided with a tanker. The front side of the bus is completely damaged. Traffic has built up at least 3km," Liju Zacharia said.
