
A fine of Dh5,000 per worker will be imposed on the violating companies.
The midday work ban that came into effect on June 15 in the UAE will end next week.
The ban will end on September 19 and regular working hours would resume, Al Khaleej reported.
During the summer midday break period, labourers, construction workers and other out-of-office workers are prohibited from working in the sun between 12:30pm until 3pm each day .
In 2018, The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE) has been implementing new methods and cooperating with the private sector to detect any violations.
MOHRE added that 350 teams are monitoring private companies to find any violations, and those found violating will be fined Dh5,000 per worker. Fine of maximum Dh50,000 can be imposed on the violators.
